OBE Solutions was founded by Bruno Chatel, who has spent 30 years as an independent consultant in technical documentation and data management for the aerospace industry. Working with major OEMs including Airbus, Airbus Helicopters, ATR, and Embraer, as well as airlines like Air France, Hop!, and United Airlines, Bruno gained unique insight into flight operations documentation challenges from every angle.
As a standards expert and active member of the ATA e-Business program’s Flight Operations Working Group since 2008, Bruno saw firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible.
That deep, hands-on experience across the industry led to founding OBE Solutions—not to adapt generic tools for aviation, but to build purpose-specific solutions that address the real problems seen across decades of consulting work.
Today, OBE Solutions combines that expertise with a development team of subject matter and IT experts (15-25 years of experience each, based in France and offshore) to deliver innovative solutions that simply didn’t exist before. We’re active members of the Flight Operations Working Group, helping shape the future of flight operations documentation standards while bringing practical experience from years of working in the field.
